Google Pixel XL 2 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 835

Google Pixel XL 2 benchmark leaked. It is rumored that, Google will unveil its next generation Pixel devices in upcoming months but not much information has been available to the public.

Recent leaks suggest Google Pixel XL 2 will have bezel-less screen. Rumors also suggested that the device will have dual-rear camera setup.

But, some information has been made available to the public about the upcoming pixel device thanks to GeekBench benchmark and leaks. The latest prototype of Google Pixel XL 2 was spotted on popular bechmark website GeekBench.

Google Pixel XL 2 will have 5.7″ 1440P Quad-HD Display. Rumors suggest that, Google Pixel 2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 system on a chip. Snapdragon 836 is said to have in development stage as of now. It should be noted that Snapdragon 836 has not been confirmed because Qualcomm is still working hard to make it a real final product.

So, speculations are that the device may be powered by tried and tested octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked @ 2.4GHz. Adreno 540 GPU will handle graphics duties.

The device is said to feature dual rear camera setup but benchmark shows only one 12MP rear camera as of now. It will have 7MP front camera capable of 4K video recording.

The device will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. According to the benchmark, the device was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, but it is expected that at the time of launch it will run the upcoming version of Android i.e Android O.
