First half of 2018, we saw some cool flagship smartphones getting launched one after the other. The Smartphone enthusiast waits for a launch of new smartphones. The competition between different brands s what makes it more interesting. Recently MI A2 was launched and people got busy in proving each other wrong over which Smartphone, A2 or honor play is the best. However here we are not going to see a comparison between different smartphones rather we get to see the upcoming smartphones in 2018 after September. The list contains flagship and mid ranged smartphones and also some of the smartphones mentioned here are said to be rumored. Let us take a look at the list.
1. Nokia 6.1/x6 2018
Nokia X6 2018 which was announced on July 30 of this year has already been launched in August 2018 but however keeping in mind the popularity of this phone, it has been added to the list of upcoming smartphones in 2018. This phone is a huge step for Nokia Smartphones to get hold of the smartphone market. Nokia X6 or officially known as the Nokia 6.1 is a great smartphone in the mid-range pricing. It has a 5.8″ of a capacitive touchscreen and is built in front-rear aluminum frame. The primary camera features a 16 MP camera which clicks pics at 1080p. The chipset comprises of Snapdragon 636 along with a 6 GB of RAM and has a battery capacity of 3060 mAH. he 32 GB and 3 GB variant comes at a price of about Rs 14,210, whereas the 64 GB and 4 GB variant comes at a price of about Rs 15,452.
2. Samsung Galaxy S10
Samsung has always tried to get ahead of its competitors in the smartphone market and has a great deal of rivalry with the iPhone. But here we are talking about a revolution which can make the Samsung galaxy s10 a no.1 smartphone of 2019 and this is why it has been included in the list of upcoming smartphones in 2018. According to rumors Samsung could release the Samsung Galaxy s10 at MWC 2019 next year. If this is not the date then you may hear confirmed news by March 2019 at most. This flagship smartphone will have an on-screen fingerprint sensor. According to the leaked photo with code name beyond it is said that S10 will feature a full bezel-less display. It will have a curved display and the front-facing camera and sensors will either pop up or be fitted in the screen itself. it would come with an ultrasonic scanner for perfection and will have 3 sizes. It is said to be incorporated with 5G technology as well. Nothing much has been known about its pricing but we can expect it to go higher than the Samsung Galaxy s9.
3. Redmi note 6 pro
This is actually the Indian version of MI A2 lite which was launched along with MI A2 in China and which deals with a notch at the top of the screen like the one in the iPhone X. Xiaomi has unveiled its Redmi 6 series on September 5, 2018, which includes Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi note 6 pro. All of them runs on MIUI 9 on top of Android 8.1 oreo. Coming to Redi note 6 Pro, it comes with 18:9 tall display ratios and face unlock capabilities powered by AI. For the 32 GB variant and 3 GB RAM, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced at Rs 10,999 while the 64 GB variant comes in a price tag of about Rs 12,999.
4. One plus 6T
One plus 6 has already been ruling the smartphone market in the 40k range in India which provides some of the ultimate features and thus it is also put on the list of upcoming smartphones in 2018. It is quite notable to see as to what will be the features of its successor which is One plus 6t. Generally, they don’t differentiate much with the second version of the handset, for example, One plus 5 and One plus 5T but since some mid-range smartphones giving quite a competition to the one plus 6 hence they will be thinking out of the box with One plus 6T to stand out in the crowd. One plus smartphones have always revealed its ‘T’ version in November and this year it is going to be the same as some reports suggest. A teardrop/waterdrop style display will be there along with on-screen fingerprint display. They might be borrowing some of the features like VOOC fast charging from oppo. The chipset will comprise a Snapdragon 845, however, there are no rumors related to its pricing but it can be anywhere between 40k to 50k in India.
5. iPhone XS
Leaks suggest that an iPhone is on the way to launch and its going to be iPhone xs. Actually, it will be coming in two variants viz iPhone xs and iPhone xs max. The later one will have a 6.5 inch OLED display while the former one will feature a 5.8 inch OLED display. With a 4 GB RAM, A12 bionic processor and large battery life apple may re-gain to the no.1 position, it was once before. Apple generally unveils its product on September 12 hence we can wait for the day to know more about it.
7. Motorolla One Power
Motorolla is going to launch Motorolla one and Motorolla one power with Android one and thus it is included in the list of upcoming smartphones in 2018. Motorolla One power will get a 5000 mah battery life along with the greater processor and high-resolution cameras which are of dual camera setup and these phones will range anywhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000.
8. Vivo v 11
Vivo v11 was recently announced and it has got a slimmed-down design. They are calling the new design of the notch “a waterdrop screen” and it is quite appealing. Vivo has named it as the “halo full view display”. It also features an on-screen fingerprint sensor which is quite convenient and which we are going to see on the other flagship smartphones listed above. This phone will come with an OLED screen and the bezel at the bottom is slightly bigger than the other 3 sides. The other feature includes Snapdragon 660 processor, 3400 mah battery life, 25 MP front facing the camera and rear 12 MP camera with 5 MP secondary sensor. It will be shipped with fast charging out of the box.
This list of upcoming smartphones in 2018 is quite interesting and many enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for these smartphones to get launched. While most of the phones listed above are said to be launched on their expected dates but some of them are rumored. we can only wait for these smartphones getting launched by their respective brands.
