Affordable Moto C and Moto C Plus officially launched with Android 7.0 Nougat. Motorola has been in news for a quite a while due to rumours and leaks about its upcoming smartphones series like Moto X series and Moto Z series. Rumours and leaks of Motorola’s lowest-end Moto C series have been turned out to be true.

Motorola and Lenovo have made their Moto C series official by launching Moto C and Moto C Plus yesterday. Moto C and Moto C Plus both are entry-level low-cost smartphones. Moto C devices will go on sale in next few weeks in Asia.Moto C and Moto C Plus launched with Android 7.0 Nougat

Lowest end Moto C will come in two variants. One is a 3G variant and another one is a 4G variant. It is sad to see that Moto is still launching 3G only devices in the era of 4G and 5G. Moto C’s back side is made by polycarbonate shell.

The 3G variant is powered by quad-core 32-bit MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz. Whereas, 4G variant is powered by 64-Bit Mediatek MT6737M chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.1GHz. This is the only difference; rest of the specifications are same for both variants.

Both the Moto C variants have only 1GB RAM which is very low for smooth multitasking between more than three apps. Internal storage is just 8GB only, most of which will be taken by Android OS itself. Thankfully, there is a micro-sd card slot for expansion.

Moto C has 5″ 480p FWVGA display. The rear camera is a 5-megapixel camera with single LED flash and front camera is a 2-megapixel shooter. Everything is powered by 2,350mAh battery.

Moto C Plus is a slight upgrade over Moto C’s 4G variant. The main difference lies in rear camera, display and Internal storage. Moto C Plus has 5″ 720P HD display. The rear camera is 8MP. The device is powered by a larger 4,000mAh battery.
