ASUS Announced ZenPad 10 (Z301ML/MFL) at Computex

ASUS Announced ZenPad 10 at Computex. Computex is a computer expo held annually in Taipei, Taiwan. It is one of the largest computer and technology trade shows in the world.

As the trade show is one of the biggest venues for product launches; Asus launched many products there. They also announced ZenPad 10 with two different model variants with the following model numbers Z301ML and Z301MFL.

Indeed, Asus is the worst company when it comes to giving model numbers to its product, it’s just too hard to remember for a regular consumer but their product as not bad as the model number of their devices.

The ZenPad 10 is a fashion-inspired premium tablet with an embossed woven texture. Both the variants of the  ZenPad 10 Z301MFL and Z301ML look the same and share most specs.

Talking about Z301ML, it has 10.1″ LED-backlit display with the resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display has 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT8735A quad-core chipset with cores clocked at 1.45GHz. It has 18Wh 4680mAh Li-polymer battery. It has Mali T720 MP2 GPU which should be able to handle light games.

Z301MFL is a slightly better product. It has 10.1″ LED-backlit display with the resolution of 1280 x 800. The display has 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT8735W chipset, which is a quad-core chipset with all the four cores clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 18Wh 4680mAh Li-polymer battery. It has Mali T720 MP2 GPU which should be able to handle light games.

Both the devices are running Android 7.0 Nougat. Both feature a 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, two front-facing speakers, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. Both has a 3.5mm headset jack, a microSD card slot.

Sensors on the ZenPad 10 are as following a G-sensor, e-Compass, Hall sensor, light sensor, gyroscope. The availability and the pricing of the device for India will be announced soon.
